Contributing Your Experiences

Except for a resident-by-resident check by technically qualified, independent observers on a daily basis, the second best method for determining the quality of care in a particular nursing home or assisted living facility is the observations and experiences of family members who regularly visit their loved ones (and, when possible, the judgments of residents themselves). This is information we can share.

By relating your experiences about your loved one in a particular nursing home or assisted living facility, you will contribute valuable information that will benefit everyone who may be faced with placing a loved one in a nursing home.

If you wish your experience to have greater value and to be helpful to other members of the community who have concerns about nursing home care, please call, email or write the Citizens' Committee to contribute your experiences.
